Technology Resources
- Will Rogers Middle School offers its students and teachers a variety of opportunities to integrate technology (hardware and software) tools in the learning process. The following technology resources are currently available. In addition, the computer lab (room 28) and the library media center (room 29) center are open to students during lunchtime and after school on many days.
Classrooms
- All classrooms have an interactive projectors which are used to enhance the learning environment by giving teachers a tool to create dynamic, highly interactive and engaging lessons. FrontRow audio systems are available in each room to enhance student engagement and ensure clear communication between students and teacher.
Chevron 21st Century Media Center
- Our school library / media center has been updated thanks to a generous donation from the Chevron Corporation. The use of modular seating arrangements and portable devices enable students to use the Chevron Library Media Center (LMC) for collaborative research, interactive lessons, (staff /parent) trainings and student centered special events. With its multi-screen setup, and high quality audio sound system, this 21st century learning space is a student favorite on campus.
1:1 Chromebook Take Home Program
- Students are issued a touchscreen Chromebook at the beginning of the school year which is to be used for educational purposes. Students use their LESD provided Google accounts to login, conduct research, publish, communicate, collaborate, create and participate in a wide variety of projects and activities to help build 21st Century skills. Specialized multimedia and instructional software is also used to help facilitate 21st century learning goals. Teachers are given opportunities to collaborate and refine instructional practices in order to further enhance teaching and learning .
