Will Rogers Middle School is organized into small learning communities where every student is known, valued for their contributions, and nurtured.

A Message from Dr. De La Torre

It gives me great pleasure, as Principal of Will Rogers Middle School, to welcome you to the official Will Rogers Middle School website. Our website has been prepared in the hope that it will become for families, a valuable source of school news and timely information. Our website has been developed to enable everyone to become familiar with our school, its policies, and other procedures that are essential for our student’s success at school, as well as to provide you with updated school news, schedules and events.  Our staff takes great pride in providing a safe and secure learning environment, while offering a wide array of exciting and challenging academic programs.

We welcome all parents to get involved by attending school activities.  We regularly post all parent meetings and opportunities on our websites.  We invite our families to attend our Parent Nights, School Site Council (SSC), English Language Advisory Council (ELAC), District English Language Advisory Council (DELAC), and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meetings.  We also have Family Math Nights, English Language Learner Parent Night, A-G Parent Night, Back-to-School Night and Open House.

Rogers students have a wide variety of extracurricular activities, both academic and recreational to choose from. Our entire staff is committed to establishing a school environment that allows our students to flourish and to grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Our website is updated regularly to provide visitors with updated bulletins and news on a variety of subjects.

Sincerely,

Dr. De La Torre
