The Varsity Boys basketball team won their home opener 31-13 against Bud Carson Tues 1/23.  With a dominating defensive performance that lead to easy points, Bud Carson couldn't get anything going as the Panthers controlled the game after a shaky start.  In their second game against a very talented Prairie Vista team this last Tues 1/30, the boys struggled to get anything going on the offensive side of the ball as to many turnover lead to easy buckets for PV.  Their defense kept them in the game, but in the end they lost 31-14.  The Varsity Boys sit at 1-1 with their next game at home vs Lennox Tues 2/13.

The Lady Panthers played their first game at Bud Carson and kept it really close in the first half only down 10-5.  Although they played very hard and kept it close with great defense, Bud Carson pulled away with a 19-7 victory.  The girls will look to improve as they play their 2nd game this Friday 2/2 at Prairie Vista.

The boys JV team lost their first game vs Bud Carson 23-10.  They kept the game close only down 10-6 in the first half but with a depleted roster for a variety of reasons, the boys got tired with limited subs and BC pulled away.  In the JV's second game vs Prairie Vista, the boys looked like a completely different team.  With a full roster and a few more practices under their belt, the boys played a great team game defeating PV 27-18.  The JV will also play 2/13 at home vs Lennox.

Go Panthers!!!
